Complex Systems Thinking
Most of the problems worth working on don’t sit neatly inside one organisation, discipline or dataset. My master’s thesis looked at how systems thinking can improve regulation, using drinking water regulation in New Zealand as the case study. I’m still working through what that means in practice: when to break a problem into parts, when to look at the whole, and how much understanding you need before you act.
